How SnapDF works
Everything you need to make sharp PDFs with your phone in no time.
-
1
Connect with the QR code
SnapDF doesn't need an app. Start by opening the scanner on your computer:
- On your PC or laptop, go to web.snapdf.net.
- A unique QR code and a secure pairing link appear automatically.
- Scan the QR code with your smartphone camera, or type the link into your mobile browser.
- Once connected, the status indicator on your PC turns green: “Phone connected!”
-
2
Take photos with your phone
After pairing, your phone screen turns into a camera viewer:
- Point the camera at the document, such as a contract, letter, ID card or receipt.
- Tap the large white shutter button. A screen flash and a message confirm the photo was sent.
- The photo appears on your computer almost instantly. You can keep photographing more pages.
Tip: use plenty of light and place the document on a contrasting surface.

Edit, crop and apply filters
As soon as a photo arrives, the document editor opens automatically:
- Adjust the corners: drag the four corner points to the edges of your document to straighten skewed photos (perspective correction).
- Pick a document type: A4 document, ID card or pass, narrow receipt, or free ratio.
- Filters and colour: adjust brightness, contrast and saturation, or choose a black-and-white or Doc-Boost preset for crisp text.
- Click Save & crop to apply your changes.

Reorder pages and download the PDF
All pages scanned? Then create the final document:
- Drag pages: drag the thumbnails to a new position to change the order.
- Export options: choose whether pages fit neatly on A4 or keep their own size (handy for unusual formats).
- Quality: pick the DPI, for example 150 DPI for a balanced file or 300 DPI for print quality.
- Click Download PDF. The file is saved directly to your PC.
